Technology has improved the world. It has made information more accessible which makes it harder for destructive cults to keep people uneducated, dependant and ignorant. Making it harder for them to be brainwashed and controlled.
From the printing press through to the internet and what comes beyond, technology is freeing people from ignorance and superstition, and the people in power who would use those things to help them control others.

Date: 2012-03-06 04:08 am (UTC)It's funny they have had to try to invent ways to shield their Supporters from balanced information sources (case in Point FOX News and claims anything else is 'the liberal media').
Anyway "poor choice of words" saying cults. Exploitative political ideologies are worse if anything.
