A raccoon-moment

I took in the recycling bin and the rubbish bin when I got home from work. It's trash day today and they were empty. It's kind of depressing in a way, I looked into each bin and then went inside and checked the other bins. I suppose partly to see if the trash had been put out this morning and...and...yes damnit, for foraging. Don't judge me! I went hunting through the bins for interesting stuff...at least I am raccoon enough to admit it!

I didn't find much...there was an old foil packet for "aspro clear" my preferred form of asprin which was kinda shiny. The only other thing was packaging and wrappers from last nights dinner...I went out and got food for a tired household. So that's sort of shiny...in a metaphorical way.

I'm the scavenging kind of raccoon at heart, so no good at preparing food but i can at least go out and 'forage' enough for the house. Our usual food providers (i.e. everyone here who isn't a useless scavenger-raccoon) were all too tired and/or too sick last night...
...well it was good (and shiny!) to do the food providing for a change.

awww good raccoon hunting in the trash is fun just dont get in the way of the rodents, btw was it you that gave me the links tothe trashbag groups just you are not a member of them?
