Payday

The phrase "this puts it all into perspective" keeps popping into my head.
Why?
Payday today. $2557Aus after tax.

Tomorrow I will call the bank to up my morguage repayments to $1000 a month.

That's all amusing to me considering my net earnings to the age of 12 were $8 in loose change...
...now I part-own a house. I now earn more money in a month (after tax) than I usually had in a year before I left university. Ok, the three years I had work in Germany does just tip the scales a little.
So two months of my current salary to be more than any year up to and including 2003. That's still pretty impressive I feel.

Life is good.
All that hard work and study all my life is paying off.
I still have that major regret from my schooling...I never learned to draw. It stings because I had a chance but didn't stand up for what I wanted then. On the other paw I didn't want it then as much as I want it now. Hindsight is 20/20.

Is that regret enought to taint the overall picture? Heck no!
Life is good.
^_^ And that has nothing to do with money.
