Rant, by requests. Episode 1.

tkwolf called for me to rant. The topic I've selected rrom the list is "special abilities" and it's a good topic.

The furry fandom has alot of individuals who make claims about "special abilities"...alot of claims they can really thransform, or they can talk to animals, or "i am a real kitsune, not one of these people roleplaying a kitsune" and all sorts of supernatural BS.

Reality people. It's one thing to say the classic furry things like "i feel i have a fox spirit in me" and such...but claims you can REALLY are physically a fox, or can do magic, or wield the force...

Why the rant? These are the nutjobs that are giving all furrys a bad name. Recently i've just been playing the circular-arguments game with a pack of trolls who have all run afowl of some irrational furrys and formed a set of misconclusions about all furrys based on one person's crazed ramblings.

Think of it from the troll's point of view, they're minding their own buisness on some forum somewhere and all of a sudden an irrational furry pops up who can talk about nothing else but go on and on about their special powers, their (warped) view about furrys, yiffing, or whatever. When someone is out-there enough to truely believe they can put curses on their enemies or become a wereunichorn under the light of the full moon...you can imagine that they're impossible to deal with.
These are NOT the people I want representing the fandom, as they typically claim to do.

So we have borderline insane furrys out there being vocal and making all furrys look like deranged and pathetic mental cases! I'M SICK OF IT! I've spent abit more than a week listening to people telling me they've "met alot of furrys and they're all insane and impossible to reason with" because they met one or two of the crazy sort and jumped to a conclusion 'all furs must be like that'.

These nutcase furrys need a good hard smacking upside the head with the reality stick!
