Counting Down

Second last day at work.

I'll be letting "the moron" (but he's abit better now) run my machine almost solo today. Just to see if he can. Meanwhile i'll be taking finished powder from last week and milling it to make...
...600kg order of product for shipment!!!

^_^ Yes folks, the year long project of getting that machine working has indeed payed off and we now make product suitable for sale. It's no longer trials and experiments, it's full scale production.

We have a weeks worth of product already, just need to mill it and send it to the packing room...

^_^ YAY! I rock.

Unpredicted Predictability.

Last day of work tomorrow. I expected something shitty to happen.
I didn't expect "4am start".

Yuppers, 4am to 5pm. Leaving here about 3am and getting home 6:30pm ish. Just a 15.5 to 16 hour day. Lovely.

Oh, and on his first day running my machine largely unsuopervised, "the moron" ignored my written instructions, tried to do it off memory and made EXACTLY the same error he did last time that I have been training him not to do (and why not) for the last few weeks. That sh$thead...he couldn't have waited 2 or 3 days to suck? Now my last memories of that machine (on the assumption i will not be back there briefly at least once) will be of it operational but partly out of commission.

So that was a letdown. And of course with me having one day left on site i can hardly train up someone else...
...bugger.

(aggravated and also amused 'coonie here)
