Lord of all you survey! ^_^

That's a bit of a shift, ne? I can certainly see how it could be highly rewarding, although if there's a need to deal with The Publicâ„¢, I'm not sure it's something I could readily deal with. On the other paw, I've never been in that position - I could be quite mistaken. I do love to be helpful, but in, say, the case of furcons, that was usually behind the scenes. (But then, I did staff the art show front desk at CF one year, and had no problems, other than being amused how many people would ask what the show's hours were, despite very large, prominent signs above and below me =:)

Excellent news, in any event! It's very good indeed to learn you're floofy of tail once more. ^_^

speaking of libraries

One thing I found of interest is that if you go to the University of Adelaide library https://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/meta/authors they have e-books downloadable, Its sort of the Australian version of project Gutenberg; however they also leave a word of caution to the yanks (amongst others) that some books shouldn't be downloaded due to still being under copyright jurisdiction (like George Orwells 1984). Still plenty of good stuff to load-up to the kindle if one desires something to read.

Me, I am mostly old-school, I like to have a tangible book in my hand rather than an electronic medium to read.
